WEEEK Week: completion of a series of updates on Android and a package of bug fixes 🛍️
We rolled out the latest big things on Android and several fixes for the entire service — fixed calendar integrations, improved global search and added rewinding of downloaded videos
From June 3 to June 17, the WEEEK team is fighting small and annoying bugs — here are the field reports.
📱Android application
🔥 We’ve finished updating the task view modes — there was a whole series of them! Previously, we made filters and changed the interface in the header. And now:
- In Week, Board and List modes you can now group tasks — by date, project, assignee, priority and type
- The task now shows how many subtasks, attachments and comments are inside — just like on the web
- We updated the header in the CRM service — it will be more convenient to work
🗂️ CRM
- The appearance of the Contacts and Companies sections has been preserved. Configure the display of columns as you need — and the view will be saved the next time you enter the section
⚒️ General
- In global search, found projects, boards and tasks now have a path to them visible. We also fixed switching between services and search in CRM
- 📹 Video files uploaded to WEEEK — for example, attached to tasks or inserted into a document — can now be rewinded. Use it when you need to review instructions or re-listen to an interview.
- Made the process of creating a copy of a task more controlled. Now, in order to duplicate a task, you must select a board and column so that it is not copied “to nowhere”
- In notifications, the employee card and the Users service, full user names are now displayed instead of abbreviated ones — “Ivan Ivanov” instead of “Ivan I.”
- 📲 iOS application. We unloaded the quick creation of a task from the weekly calendar, made quick access to search and new notifications
The global search for tasks and projects in WEEEK now looks like this: the exact location of the task is visible
⚙️ Bug fixes
- We fixed integrations with external calendars and fixed a data privacy violation. Previously, some users received tasks in their online calendars that they did not have access to. Now tasks will not appear in the user’s online calendar if they are hidden from him by privacy
- Fixed a bug with date offset when editing the time spent working on a task
- Fixed a bug when renaming options in the custom Select field, when a new name was assigned to the entire field
- Fixed an error in the Employee Report section of the Analytics service when an employee changes — the selected dates will be saved
- Fixed a bug in List mode when linking a task to a parent — you no longer need to refresh the page
- Fixed a bug when duplicating a task with subtasks — now subtasks are also saved in a copy
- We fixed a bug with the number of tasks in boards when duplicating a project from a template — when using a template, the task counter on the board showed zero, even if there were tasks inside
