We’ve been working hard for a long time to present it to you today — a dark mode in the Weeek app.

1. The Dark mode helps to focus on your work and not be distracted by anything. The Dark mode doesn’t create a burden on the eyes, making your work comfortable at any time of the day.

At the initial stage of Weeek’s app development, we thought about a dark color scheme. The black-and-white interface is exhausting, despite its “naturalness”. Too much light, too contrasting elements may interfere with effective work, especially for those who look at the monitor for hours every day.

In the development process, we focused on removing bright accents. For continuous and comfortable work with the Dark mode, we got out of excessive contrast, made black not so black, white not so white, removed all too “noisy” and bright details. We structured the elements and organized the space with neat, necessary nuances.

Last week, you could test the Dark mode yourself. Thank you for feedback. Thanks to your comments, over the past week we were able to fix all the bugs and refine the details.

As a result, today you can use the comfortable dark theme in the Weeek app if necessary.

2. Also we’ve created a short description of the features in the tooltips this week.

So that new Weeek users can immediately get acquainted with all the platform features, we added tips:

Tooltips gradually pop up in the process, when you open the workspace, go from the personal calendar to projects, open tasks and work with boards.
